Pimpernel stuff! I've never quite ever got the hang of drawing Marguerite. I think it is because I am just not too certain what she is about. It's a shame because I love her character, but I've never been able to properly envision her, or to translate my vision of her into something visual. But I feel like I've started to get the hang of it. Maybe.
The tragic 'Marguerite has a decision to make' scene, one of my favourites from the book. Re-do of an old piece that I was never satisfied with. I'm actually not too satisfied with this version, either. I am probably never satisfied.

Belatedly, this picture is what motivated me to go find The Scarlet Pimpernel in my nearest library. I am now a fan.
Also since seeing it for the first time this is how I pictured Chauvelin in my head when reading. It was a very awesome experience! Be satisfied! :3
